Quit tomorrow

The desire to quit is overwhelming at times.

It often doesn’t even matter what kind of progress you’re making.

Sometimes you’re getting leaning, stronger, and healthier.

Sometimes you’re not.

The call to throw in the towel doesn’t care.

It’s there, in the back of your mind, whispering.

You can’t do this.

You’re going to fail.

Take the easy route.

Stop reaching for more.

It’s not worth the effort.

Of course, there are times when quitting, or at least pivoting, may be what you need to do to move toward your goals.

When you might need to change things up.

Don’t make that decision right now.

Progress requires consistency.

Persistence.

For now, focus on what’s in front of you.

Take care of business.

You can quit.

Just quit tomorrow.

Get through today.

Today’s training session.

Today’s meals.

Today’s temptations.

Today’s challenges — fitness related or not.

When today is all you focus on.

You’ll see that you’re stronger, more capable, than you’d ever imagined.

You’re going to do great.

You’ve got this.
