Take a bit of the pressure off

Have you ever felt a sense of urgency?

A sense of desperation?

Pressure?

Like you need to lose the weight, build the muscle, or do whatever the thing may be, RIGHT FN NOW?

It’s so easy to feel this way, especially when it comes to getting lean, strong, and healthy.

After all, the stakes are high.

This is your body.

The only one you’ll ever have.

But, that self-imposed pressure.

That stress.

It doesn’t help.

It’s not productive.

It’s probably counterproductive.

The next time you start beating yourself up for not seeing the rate of progress you want to see.

Ask yourself.

How long did it take you to get to where you are now?

Months?

Years?

Decades?

Why expect it to take any less time to get to where you want to be?

Take a bit of the pressure off.

The process will do what it needs to do.

You do the best you can.

It’s all you can do.

Sure, you might make some major progress in a matter of weeks or months.

You might not.

Getting lean, strong, and healthy isn’t always straightforward.

You might be able to make some solid educated guesses.

But there’s no way to tell exactly what may or may not work for you.

This isn’t always simple.

This may take some time.

This may take some tinkering.

This may take a TON of effort.

You’re worth all of that, though.

You deserve that.

You’ve got this.
